These terms govern the HelpSite Affiliate Program (the "Program"). The Program is run by HelpSite Technologies LLC ("HelpSite," "we," "us") and managed through Reditus, the partner platform at getreditus.com. "You" means the person or business that joins the Program as an affiliate.
By applying to the Program through Reditus, you agree to these terms. Our general Terms & Conditions also apply where relevant.
1. Joining the Program
- The Program is free to join. You do not need to be a HelpSite customer.
- We may accept or decline any application.
- The Program is non-exclusive. We may work with other affiliates and promote HelpSite ourselves.
- You are an independent contractor. These terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship, and you may not make commitments on HelpSite's behalf.
- Your Reditus account is for you only. Do not share your login.
2. Commission
- You earn 35% commission on the payments we receive from each eligible customer you refer, for 12 months from that customer's first payment.
- Commission is calculated on what the customer actually pays for their HelpSite subscription, excluding taxes, discounts, refunds, and chargebacks. Commission is paid in US dollars.
- Referrals are tracked through your Reditus affiliate link. A referral is credited to you when someone clicks your link and signs up for HelpSite within the 60-day cookie window.
- If we lower the commission rate or shorten the commission period, the change applies only to customers referred after the change takes effect.
3. What does not earn commission
- Customers who were already paying HelpSite customers before you referred them.
- Self-referrals: signups by you, your own company, or anyone using your account or payment details.
- Customers who come to HelpSite without using your link, or whose referral is not recorded by Reditus.
- Payments that are refunded, charged back, or never collected. If we have already paid commission on a payment that is later refunded or charged back, we may deduct that amount from your future commission.
- Referrals that come from ads that break section 5.
- Referrals obtained through fraud, misleading claims, or anything else that violates these terms or the law.
4. Payouts
- Reditus calculates your commission and shows it in your affiliate dashboard.
- We pay approved commission through Reditus to the payment method connected to your account once your balance reaches $50. A balance under $50 carries over until it reaches the threshold.
- You are responsible for any taxes on your commission. Reditus may ask for tax or payment details before a payout can be made.
- If you believe a commission amount is wrong, tell us within 30 days of the payout or statement it appears on.
5. How you may promote HelpSite
You may promote HelpSite through your own content: reviews, tutorials, comparisons, newsletters, social posts, videos, and recommendations to your clients.
Paid ads are allowed, with these limits:
- Do not bid on "HelpSite," other HelpSite brand terms, misspellings of them, or HelpSite domain names in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or any other search ad platform.
- Do not use HelpSite brand terms in ad copy or display URLs, and do not present your ad as an official HelpSite ad.
You also agree to:
- Clearly disclose that you may earn a commission when you share your link, as required by the US Federal Trade Commission and similar rules where you operate.
- Describe HelpSite honestly. Do not make claims about features, pricing, or results that HelpSite does not offer or that you cannot support, and use HelpSite's current pricing.
- Follow applicable laws, including anti-spam and privacy laws. Do not send unsolicited bulk email or messages.
- Not promote HelpSite on sites or channels with illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
- Not use cookie stuffing, hidden links, or any other method to claim referrals you did not genuinely make.
6. Use of the HelpSite name and materials
- You may use the HelpSite name, logo, and any promotional materials we provide only to promote HelpSite under these terms. Do not alter the HelpSite logo.
- HelpSite keeps all rights to its name, logo, product, and materials. You keep all rights to your own content.
- We may mention you as a HelpSite affiliate partner, using your name or company name, unless you ask us not to.
7. Confidentiality
If we share non-public information with you, such as unreleased features or internal figures, keep it confidential and use it only for the Program.
8. Leaving or ending the Program
- You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us or by leaving the program in Reditus. You will be paid the commission you earned up to the date you leave, subject to section 4.
- We may end your participation at any time by notifying you by email or through Reditus.
- If we end the Program, or end your participation for reasons unrelated to your conduct, you continue to earn commission on customers you already referred for the rest of their 12-month commission period.
- If we end your participation because you broke these terms or acted fraudulently, any unpaid commission is forfeited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email or through Reditus at least 14 days before a change takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you may leave the Program before it takes effect. Staying in the Program after that date means you accept the updated terms.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, HelpSite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Program, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the commission paid to you in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control.
11. General
- These terms are governed by the law of the place where HelpSite Technologies LLC is based, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
- We may transfer this agreement, for example if HelpSite is sold. You may not transfer it without our written permission.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply.
- "In writing" includes email and messages sent through Reditus.
