Done-for-you service

We'll build your knowledge base for you.

You know your team should have a proper help center — you just don't have time to build it. Hand us your scattered docs, FAQs, and tribal knowledge, and we'll turn them into a clean, searchable help center in 2–3 weeks.

Why teams ask us to do it

A knowledge base is on everyone's list. It rarely gets built.

You never get to it

You know you should have a proper help center. It just never makes it to the top of the list — there's always something more urgent.

The same questions, on repeat

Your support inbox keeps filling with questions a good article would answer once. Onboarding is inconsistent for the same reason.

Your AI tools guess

When your source content is scattered and stale, AI answers are only as good as the mess behind them — so they make things up.

How it works

You approve the plan before we write anything.

No black box, no big leap of faith. You approve the plan and see sample articles before the full build — so you're never paying for a finished knowledge base you haven't seen the shape of.

1. Plan call & blueprint

A short discovery call, then we inventory your docs and propose a category structure and article list. You approve the blueprint before we write a word.

2. Sample articles

We write a few articles first so you can check the voice and format. You approve the samples before we commit to the full build — no surprises.

3. Build & publish

We write, organize, and publish the rest in HelpSite — branded, searchable, and ready for customers and your team.

4. Handoff & training

A walkthrough so your team can keep it current — recorded, so future hires can get up to speed too.

How our service works

Build it once. Keep it current, if you want.

Start with a one-time build package below. After launch, an optional monthly plan keeps it from going stale — most teams begin with a build and add a plan later.

Step 1 · One-time build

Pilot projects typically run $750–$3,750 depending on scope — set with you on the call. Each includes your first year on HelpSite.

Help Center Launch Package

Get a clean, public help center your customers can actually search — live fast.

Up to 20 articles · 2–3 weeks

One-time project · first year on HelpSite included

Request a fit call
  • Discovery call + intake questionnaire
  • Up to 20 structured articles from your materials
  • HelpSite setup: domain, branding, categories
  • One revision round + 30 days of support

Complete Knowledge System

Public help center, internal SOPs, and AI chatbot — built and organized end to end.

Up to 100 articles · 4–6 weeks

One-time project · first year on HelpSite included

Request a fit call
  • Multi-session discovery + team interviews
  • Up to 100 articles — public help center + internal SOPs
  • Full setup: branding, search, AI chatbot
  • Team handoff + training call, recorded for future hires
  • Unlimited revisions within 90 days
  • Quarterly health checks for a year

Article counts are a guide, not a hard cap. Need 100+ articles, multiple languages, or a complex or technical product? We'll scope a custom quote on the call.

Step 2 · Optional monthly

Keep it current — only if you want to.

A build is a one-time project. If you'd rather not maintain it yourself, add a monthly plan and we keep pace as your product changes — you just review at your own pace. Works with a point of contact on your side, roughly 1–2 hours a month.

Essential$400/mo

Up to 4 article updates a month, plus a monthly search-gap summary.

Growth$800/mo

Up to 12 updates a month, a monthly review call, and priority turnaround.

ManagedCustom

High-volume, embedded upkeep for fast-moving or highly technical products.

Questions

What people ask before booking.

What counts as an article?

One article answers one question or covers one topic — short and skimmable, as long as it needs to be and no longer. Long process docs, video scripts, or complex multi-step workflows are scoped separately so the count stays predictable.

How long does it take?

Most engagements run 2–6 weeks depending on the package and how quickly you can share source materials and feedback. We agree on a timeline up front during the planning step.

What if our product is complex or technical?

We start with what you already have and interview the people who know the product, then write in plain language and send samples early. For deeply specialized fields, we scope the work together first so expectations are clear.

Do we have to host it on HelpSite?

It's built into the price and it's where the work goes live fastest, but it isn't required. If you'd rather use another platform, we discount the project and deliver the articles to you.

What happens after launch?

You can keep it updated yourself, or add a monthly maintenance plan and our team keeps articles current, fills gaps, and flags stale content as your product changes.
